Smoky quartz

Smoky quartz specimens combine distinctive crystal forms with varied smoky tones. The selection includes pieces for a cabinet as well as natural accents for a living space.

Choosing, displaying & related collections

Compare points, exposed faces and the arrangement of each group. Lighting and viewing angle change the impression, so several photographs are useful. Also check dimensions, condition and the individual listing’s information about origin and treatment.

A higher weight does not automatically mean a larger visible crystal area. Choose proportions that suit the intended location and allow secure display. Rock crystal offers an interesting comparison of related crystal shapes; the quartz collection includes further varieties.
